I am looking for someone who has experience with Plesk and Joomla. First I need suPHP installed to address user/group issues. I then have problems when installing Joomla components, with some errors, I believe are due to access permission. If you have experience with Joiomla and Plesk, please contact me.

I got joomla working with just ftp access. No special php needed.

We actually have an article that will show you how to install Joomla on a shared account, the steps are pretty much the same for a vps. You can view this article by going to http://support2.valueweb.com/article.asp?article=72049&p=3982

You should not need any additional components installed to get joomla running. Post here if you are having install errors. Please try to include details such as error messages.
