View Full Version : DNS not populating correctly.

Hi there -

I have a new account and I was told to point my domains to ns1/2.primarydns.com, however neither of these machines knows my domain.

Am I missing something? In plesk I have added my domain and you can even query my own machines dns using it's ip address.

Do I need to do anything from within plesk, or is this something that gate needs to fix?

I believe you have to call Gate to have them set up the name on the PrimaryDNS server. I can't say I know that for sure though as I don't use Gate's DNS servers.

Do I have to call Gate everytime I setup a client now? I host serveral sites and realized it was cheaper to go w/ the U100 but this whole setup process has been horrible so far.

I think I might have figured it out. I logged into I guess the billing site for Gate and under DNS the guy I spoke w/ yesterday misspelled the domain name I gave him. I only gave it to him 10 times! I host several project sites and I figured this package (u100) would be cheaper but this whole setup has been a nightmare so far....
