Remote Desktop or stop working on your server ??
it will be auto logged out when i close remote desktop and all my

I'm not sure if this information will help, but:

When you are finished working on your server you will need to end the connection. You will need to Log Off the machine. This will free the connection. If you click the X in the corner of the window the connection will stay active. You are only allowed to have two active connections at a time. If you do not logoff properly you will not be able to log in after two connections have been opened.
----

It appears that if you just close the window, it will not close the connection and leave you logged in.

If you properly close it (logout) I would imagine all the running programs not registered as services would be stopped.
[edit: Note that I have never used RDC in my life.]

I'm not sure if this is available in the VPS environment, but on a real Windows 2003 server you can set a variety of policies to control session behaviour.

Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Terminal Services Configuration

(or Start Menu > Run tscc.msc)

Connections > RDP-Tcp -> Properties > Sessions

- Override user settings + End a disconnected session = <time>
+ Idle session limit = <time>

- Override user settings + When session limit is reached or connection is broken = End session

thx epb and Teej for reply

Teej,
i know that but the problem i have VPS from Godaddy it was support this option and i was disconnect from the session and it never auto logout then they updates the terms of use in 18-NOV and make after 5 min of disconnect the session logout automaticly
they did it to save the brusted ram cuz u know if some one left the vps opened with high ram usage it will decrease the brusted ram

So i asking any one have windows VPS from gate.com to tell me if this option disable or possible ???
