I purchased my VPS U500 package this morning. I just logged in to my Control Panels and when I attempt to add clients/domains via Plesk, it says that Plesk isn't installed. When I click the provided link to install Plesk it says that Plesk can't be installed through my CP. Contact support. Sooooo.... I contacted support, but I was wondering if any one else has had this problem? Or is there a solution any one can offer?

I received a reply from support within an hour of submitting a support request stating that my Plesk wasn't configured correctly and they would fix the problem for me. Now it's almost 16 hours later and still not fixed. :(

I'm having the same problem, but haven't submitted a ticket yet.

Though 16 hours isn't a huge time. Usually companies promise to respond to tickets in 24-48 hours, some only business days. I'm not sure what gate's policy is, but hang in there I'm sure they'll get it fixed.

Copied from the help panel in Virutozzo:

Installing Plesk

Linux The Install Plesk page allows you to install the Plesk control panel in the VPS(s). This page can be accessed by clicking the Install Plesk link on the VZPP menu, which is displayed if the Plesk template is not installed in the VPS.

To install Plesk in a Virtual Private Server, you should press the Install button on the Install Plesk page. Just follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. After you have successfully installed the Plesk control panel in the VPS, the Plesk Panel link becomes visible on the VZPP menu. Follow this link to start working in Plesk.

Note: You can't install Plesk unless authorized to do so by your provider. If you have any problems initializing the Plesk control panel auto install, seek your provider's help. Mind though that the Plesk auto install denial may be due to the shortage in your VPS QoS resources. To check if this is the case, you can go to the Viewing QoS Alerts Log page where you'll be informed in the Description column which parameter has caused the auto install failure. You might have to consider the possibility of killing some unnecessary memory-demanding process from the VPS or ask the Node administrator to allocate more resources as needed to run Plesk on your VPS.

Please send us your feedback on this help page

Hi tcollie,

Plesk should be installed by default. You do have to do through a simple setup the 1st time you access plesk but it is already installed in the images. I can check on the status of your ticket if you provide me your account information via PM.
