I went to install some software and GCC couldn't be found. Without GCC I can't use CPAN or install some of the programs I need to set up my web site. I went to the Fedora web site and found a GCC Binary RPM but it failed due to missing dependencies. When I go to install those packages (glibc and glibc-common) it won't allow me due to version conflicts. I can't seem to get it installed.
Every single VPS that I have ever used before always had the GCC compiler. There is NO gcc installed which is odd.
Can support or someone give me some insight.
I can't use CPAN or compile making this VPS worthless for me.
It appears that GCC was left out of the installation. Help please.
