Well, I think it's unlimited as long as the server has the capability of handling the load, but I could be wrong! If I'm correct, Gate.com does say its virtual servers are supposed to operate/execute like a dedicated server.

Gate.com does not limit the number of processes that can be running at one time. Be aware that if your VPS begins to use up all server resources and continues to do so for a while, and other VPSs on your server begin to suffer from it, then they will lock your account and investigate it for network abuse.
